Process Engineer

What you will do:

• You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of automated assembly lines for smart ultrasonic meters, maintaining manufacturing process stability, optimizing cycle times, and driving continuous technological improvements on the shop floor.

• You will investigate product and process deviations occurring in mass production, perform structured root cause analyses (5 Whys, Ishikawa), and implement long-term corrective and preventive actions.

• You will collaborate with the NPI and R&D teams on pilot runs, testing activities, and the industrialization of new products.

• You will develop and maintain manufacturing process instructions and related documentation.

• You will act as a technical mentor for production operators, ensuring effective knowledge transfer, training, and the successful adoption of process and technology changes on the production line.

• Together with the production, quality, and maintenance teams, you will resolve manufacturing challenges and support operational excellence initiatives.

What we are looking for:

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in maintaining or improving mass production processes;

• A degree in Engineering or a related field (Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering);

• You are able to analyze problems and apply structured problem-solving methods (5Whys, Ishikawa, etc.);

• You are able to support your conclusions with data, calculations, and analysis;

• You can read technical drawings, specifications, and BOM structures;

• Experience in preparing technical documentation for manufacturing is considered an advantage;

• A good command of technical English (written and spoken) and proficiency in MS Office;

• You demonstrate analytical thinking, initiative, and a sense of responsibility.

Salary

From 2700 to 3200 €/month gross

Salary depends on your competencies and is negotiable.
